Bass was the first instrument I ever learned to play…so the plight of Bass players finding pedals that not only sound good with the instrument, but offer a creative palette can be hard to come by, most are just a one trick pony. In response to this all too common dilemma we submit to you the “Freq-O-Plex” mod for the Boss CEB-3 Chorus Ensemble. While a popular pedal (the first one I ever bought new in a box) it has its limitations…which we went through great lengths to obliterate. We’ve increased the input, lowered the noise floor and taken the rate and depth and launched them into overdrive giving you a range from slow and lush to spacey and bubbley. Add our patent probably never pending “Mothership” switch to give you additional ranges within your low frequency control to let you send your pedal into freq-out oscillation modes.
