In the “Reality Warp” mod for the classic MXR phase 90 we take the sound in a whole new direction. Beginning with the speed of the phasing effect we tweak until getting almost vibrato rates. In addition we add a new life to the pedal disabling the typical “tone-sucking” nature of phasers by adding a slight boost to the overall signal as well as the essential mid-range. Add to this the optional waveform switch and your classic phase 90 becomes a whole new realm of sonic possibilities.
